Price catalog & Bill of Materials
Maintain the list of billable procedures and prescriptions, and link items to inventory so stock is deducted automatically when you bill.
The price catalog is the list of procedures and prescriptions your clinic bills for. It's what feeds line items into treatment plans and invoices. Manage it under Settings → Price Catalog (also reachable as Price Catalog in the sidebar).
Adding catalog items
Create an item with a name and price. Items can be procedures (fillings, extractions, crown prep) or prescriptions (medicines, gels, products). You can edit or remove items at any time.
Prices lock at checkout
Editing a catalog item only affects future visits. Once an item has been added to a plan and payment has begun, its price is locked on that plan — so changing your catalog never rewrites a patient's existing bill. See Treatment plans for how price-locking works.
Bill of Materials
For items that consume stock, add a Bill of Materials (BOM) that links the catalog item to one or more inventory items. When the catalog item is billed on a treatment plan, CuspFlow automatically deducts the linked stock. For example, a whitening procedure might deduct a gel sachet and a pair of gloves.
Keeping catalog and inventory linked this way means your stock levels stay accurate without anyone having to remember to deduct supplies by hand.
