Patient reminders
Send appointment and overdue-balance reminders to patients over WhatsApp, with email as the fallback; configure what goes out and exclude individual patients.
CuspFlow can message your patients automatically about upcoming appointments and overdue balances, so the front desk doesn't have to chase them by hand. The Patient Reminders page (in the sidebar) is where you see what's queued and what's been sent.
How messages are sent
Reminders go out over WhatsApp, with email as an automatic fallback when a patient can't be reached on WhatsApp.
You connect your clinic's own WhatsApp Business account once, under Settings → WhatsApp. Meta bills you for the messages directly, CuspFlow doesn't mark them up. (CuspFlow used to offer SMS; it was retired in favour of WhatsApp, which is cheaper and more reliable across the regions we serve.)
Choosing what goes out
Under Settings → Notifications you choose which reminders are active and their timing, for example, an appointment reminder the day before, and an overdue-balance nudge a set number of days after the invoice.
Excluding a patient
Some patients don't want automated messages. You can exclude an individual patient from all reminders, from the Patient Reminders page or from the patient's own profile, without affecting anyone else. Reminders are on for the whole clinic by default; the exclusion list is the opt-out.
